S\u00ed, si es que no te toca la puerta, no tienes c\u00f3mo saberlo. Quiz\u00e1s ahora hay mucha m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n. Pero, por ejemplo, con el conocimiento que he adquirido, reci\u00e9n caigo en la cuenta de cu\u00e1nta gente he conocido que ten\u00edan algunas caracter\u00edsticas del s\u00edndrome de Asperger. Antes era muy dif\u00edcil tener el diagn\u00f3stico de autismo. Ahora se sabe que de cada 160 ni\u00f1os, uno tiene autismo, y de esos casos, el 60% son hombres. Otro mito es que las vacunas pueden ocasionar autismo, pero eso es mentira. Vasco tiene una melliza a quien vacunamos igual que \u00e9l y ella no tiene absolutamente nada. Pero la gente no lo sabe, yo nunca lo supe. Es m\u00e1s, a otro familiar reci\u00e9n, con m\u00e1s de treinta a\u00f1os, le han diagnosticado asperger. As\u00ed como hay zurdos, hay personas con este s\u00edndrome. Es una conexi\u00f3n distinta en el cerebro.<\/p>\n

-\u00bfNo fue f\u00e1cil detectar el asperger en Vasco?\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fue un proceso largo. Cuando \u00e9l ten\u00eda dos a\u00f1os le molestaba mucho la licuadora, luego no pod\u00eda mirar a los ojos por un tema sensorial. Lo poco que hablaba dej\u00f3 de hacerlo. En ese entonces, la psic\u00f3loga del nido nos dijo que le hici\u00e9ramos un descarte de autismo, pero sali\u00f3 negativo, porque era muy leve. Le hicimos terapia de lenguaje, terapia ocupacional y de integraci\u00f3n sensorial, psicomotriz. Conforme iban apareciendo las necesidades, lo \u00edbamos atendiendo. En mi coraz\u00f3n sab\u00eda que hab\u00eda algo, pero no sab\u00eda qu\u00e9. Hasta que a los seis a\u00f1os comenz\u00f3 a hacer una especie de aleteos con sus manitas y eso fue lo que dio la certeza a los especialistas. Se tiene que estar muy atento para poder diagnosticar cuando es un caso leve.<\/p>\n
